Are you designing or renovating a bathroom? The choice of countertop can significantly influence the overall aesthetics and functionality of the space. While many homeowners are aware of the beauty and durability of granite in the kitchen, it offers many of the same benefits for the bathroom. Let’s delve into why granite is an excellent choice for bathroom countertops.
The Natural Beauty of Stone

As a natural stone formed by nature, granite offers a unique blend of colors, patterns, and textures. Each slab is one-of-a-kind, ensuring that your bathroom will have a distinct appearance. Whether you’re aiming for a modern, classic, or rustic vibe, there’s a granite pattern to match your design vision.
Unrivaled Durability and Longevity
The bathrooms can be a harsh environment. Countertops are subjected to humidity, chemical spills, and wide temperature changes. This is where the toughness of granite is a big advantage. It resists chipping, scratching, and, most importantly for bathrooms, staining. With proper sealing and maintenance, a granite countertop can retain its beauty for decades.

Water & Bacterial Resistance
One of the critical challenges in bathroom design is ensuring that materials are able withstand a humid and wet environment. Granite, once sealed correctly, becomes highly water-resistant. This is an important quality because it ensures that it won’t easily harbor bacteria or mold, making it a hygienic choice for bathrooms.
Easy Maintenance
Granite countertops are straightforward to maintain, especially in a bathroom setting. For daily cleaning, all you need is a soft cloth, mild soap, and warm water. We recommend avoid using acidic or abrasive cleaners that might compromise the sealant or the stone’s natural shine. If the surface is exposed to peroxide, alchohol, acetone or other chemicals, it’s important to ensure the sealant is kept in good condition.

Granite Adds Value to Your Home
A well-designed bathroom with high-quality materials can significantly boost the value of a home. Granite, being a premium countertop material, is often on the wishlist of potential homebuyers. Investing in a granite bathroom countertop can offer an impressive return in terms of property value.
Eco-Friendly Countertops
Looking for a natural countertop material with a low environmental impact? Granite is one of the more sustainable choices for countertops. It’s minimally processed without the use of harmful chemicals. Given its long lifespan, it reduces the need for frequent replacements, thereby minimizing waste. Granite can also be easily reused or recycled when needed.

What Our Fans Are Saying
Choosing All American Granite for our new countertops was the best decision we made for our kitchen renovation. From the moment we walked in to the final installation, their service, quality, and professionalism were truly 5-star.
The process started with Cassandra, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She handled all the specifics regarding the stone we had chosen, answered all our questions, and ensured we received fair and transparent pricing right from the start. Her expertise and upfront communication made the entire selection process stress-free and enjoyable.
Next, Michael came out for the templating and measuring. His precision was incredible! He was meticulous and careful, ensuring that every measurement was exact, which clearly contributed to the flawless fit we now have.
The quality of the granite itself is outstanding—it’s even more beautiful installed than we could have imagined. But the real magic happened with the install team. They were prompt, respectful, highly skilled, and professional, making quick work of the old tops and installing the new pieces with stunning precision. The seams are virtually invisible, demonstrating their commitment to superior craftsmanship.
We highly recommend All American Granite to anyone looking for gorgeous, high-quality countertops and a team that operates with excellence from start to finish! Thank you, Cassandra, Michael, and the whole team!
Stopping in the showroom for ourselves, I discovered that this is a female owned business, which is impressive in itself in the granite industry. I was meet with a family oriented philosophy, and a no pressure yet very knowledgeable staff. After doing by own research and deciding to choose All American Granite, every step of the process was very easy and incredibly fast.
Measuring, delivery and installation did not disappoint. Crew was able to remove and install our new granite tops in hours. No mess, just impressed! They were friendly and professional.
100% Recommend this locally owned and operated business.

The entire process was smooth. We’re happy with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend All American Granite to our friends and family. Thank you, Cassandra and Michael, for your work!
She has a great team and communication was great throughout.
Once I placed my order Cassandra took charge and set up my measurement and install appointments. Everything went according to plan and I now have a beautiful kitchen.
Mike at All American came out and did a perfect backsplash tiling job immediately after the countertops for a very affordable price. So make sure and ask Mike if you are needing backsplash as well and you will not be disappointed!
Many thanks, to the entire team at All American Granite. Five-star recommendation!
Thank you again!
We noticed there was a spot the team forgot to silicone after the install and reached out to Michael late in the day. He sent some members of the install team back early the next day to finish it up. Very impressed with the excellent customer service! I would absolutely recommend AAG.
Cassandra was very helpful with the stone selection process and Michael and his team did a great job on the installation.
Upon recommendation from Cassandra, I eliminated the extra sink in my master bath and extended the quartz countertop to create additional counter space and I’m thrilled with the result. Also, since I had enough room around my kitchen island, I ended up extending the quartz on three sides by 12“ and absolutely love it.
I would recommend them to anyone considering adding or replacing countertops in their home.
BEWARE!!! - Derek Grimsby from "Sink Connections" was referred to me from All American Granite to install my new faucets after my countertops were installed. I would recommend that you get another plumber because every sink he touched resulted in water leaking afterwards. The last water leaking under my kitchen, he claimed that it's not his issue and blamed me that my existing shut offs were junk. As a licensed plumber, if he knew this was true, then why didn’t he just replace all the shut offs to prevent any water leaking issues.
They did remake the mismatched piece, and it looks a lot better — they also did communicate with me quite well as they were trying to figure out how to make things right. I’m not sure why the first crew fully installed and did epoxy on these peices without double checking that I was ok with the terrible match. I also don’t know how such a bad match could even make it past quality control in their shop unless that didn’t happen in advance of fitting it to my cabinets. Josue was the second person who came —in order to remove the mismatched peices and to later install the newly cut peices. He was friendly, helpful, and fixed some of the finishes of the first crew including the edges that were polished kind of poorly. He also went above and beyond by pointing out a seam that he would fix that I hadn’t even mentioned to him. He too it upon himself to take a look around and help me where he could. Nice touch there by him and it was appreciated. It looks way better now, in the end. All in all if it weren’t for the first install having a few problems, my experience was positive. I think they’re fairly priced, and overall I would say it’s a good value for my final product. Was just kind of an annoying process!! But it’s way better than big box stores timeline even with the hiccups.
Measurements were great with Michael and the installation went great! We’re so happy with the new counters!
