What is a countertop remnant?
A remnant is a smaller piece of stone left over after we cut a larger countertop installation. The stone is the same premium material as a full slab. We stock only high-grade remnants, with no quarry seconds or discounted seconds, so a remnant countertop looks and performs like any other countertop we install.

With a remnant, you pay only for the stone your project uses instead of buying an entire slab. Because remnants are already in our showroom, your project can move faster than one that waits on a full slab. You may also find a rare color or pattern that you would not see in full slabs. How do I know if a remnant is big enough for my project?
Measure the length and depth of the area you want to cover and bring those numbers to the showroom. Our free estimate page has a printable design template with a measurement grid that makes this easy. Our design consultants will compare your measurements with the remnants on hand and help you find pieces that fit. Once you choose a remnant, our template team measures your space with digital laser equipment before we cut.
What is included with a remnant countertop?
Every remnant countertop includes the stone material, priced by the square foot with no minimum, along with precision measuring, professional fabrication in our Burnsville shop and installation by our in-house team. You can also choose your edge profile and a sink for a vanity or bar.
How do I reserve a remnant?
Stop in to see the current inventory, then contact us or talk with our team at the showroom to reserve the piece you want. Our remnant selection changes often, so we recommend visiting early in your planning. The sale applies to in-stock remnants only.

Our showroom is at 670 East Travelers Trail in Burnsville, across from Burnsville High School on Highway 13. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and no appointment is needed.
